This scratched so many itches for me. I loved every story about the 50s/60s Celtics and about the NBA at that time. I loved him discussing how he played the game. I loved his straightforward, no apologies descriptions of being a Black man in the U.S. I was intrigued by how controversial he was at

times. His voice is strong and vivid, and I enjoyed getting to read a co-written book. At times it had some repetition, and the structure sometimes was vague, but I just took it as part of the song and didn't fret. Show Less
