Divorce hangover

Each step of the divorce process is painful, but for many it never seems to be over. The legal battles may end, but the emotional baggage - the loss, pain and anger - may linger for months, for years, even a lifetime. Property settlements and custody decisions do not resolve feelings of failure, fault and guilt - they are no compensation for the loss of a loved one, nor do they comfort anyone who feels abandoned, alone or exploited.
