Half-French, half-Dutch St.Martin offers the best of both worlds, with big casinos and great shopping on the Dutch side and superb restaurants and secluded beaches on the French side. If you want to spend a night on the town, head for Philipsburg. If you want to get naked and sunbathe, hop over to the French side of the island and enjoy their 'clothing-optional' beaches. St.Barts is very chic, with world-class scuba, glorious beaches and more good restaurants.
