Another fascinating edition to Schott's series of miscellanies and almanacs. If you own some of his other stuff, expect a little bit of repetition - but surprisingly, not that much. All the sections were intriguing, with the exception of sports and money, which I found unspeakably dull. I doubt

that was Schott's fault though. This is always a fun book for amusing people, and if that is your purpose I highly recommend the section called "Animals in the News" on pg. 228 of the Travel and Leisure chapter.

This is my second 2011 bathroom reader, along Schott's 2007. I've been meaning to get into these, simply because the format is something entirely foreign to my usual reading habits, yet still very desirable for some reason. Everyday I try to get through one page of random happening from 2007. The

smörgåsbord of events and news is mystifying and oddly comforting in its futileness.
