Children and Holy Communion

This six-session course is written for leaders to use with groups of children aged 7-11 who want to learn about belonging to God and to appreciate the significance of Holy Communion. It is not a confirmation course, but a preparatory course to taking Communion. The book includes leader's material for the sessions as well as: historical background to children receiving Communion; how to prepare children for taking Communion; case studies from parishes which have done this; the House of Bishops' guidelines for the admission of baptized persons to Holy Communion before Confirmation.
