page, no detailed settings, and no interactions between the animals. The story is very basic. The narration is cute, and still has a style to the voice, but it in't much of a read aloud, nor does it have a plot or teach a lesson or have a rhythmic song. Her older works are much more complex and have a toe-tapping rhythm, and this board book is sorely lacking in both aspects. I am disappointed with it. The book falls flat, especially in comparison with her other work.

Thrift store find - in great shape - I wonder why the child to whom it previously belonged didn't wear it out more... I thought it great fun!
