Description

Fiction. Romance. HTML: There are a lot of things worse than being SLIGHTLY ENGAGED...being entirely broke, completely alone and wholly perplexed. It's been a year and a half since Tracey and Jack moved in together, and everything's totally perfect--well, okay, almost perfect. There's still Tracey's mom, who says they're "living in sin," and her friends, who are all smug, married and totally sure that there would already be a ring on Tracey's finger if she hadn't been in such a rush to cosign a lease. Even Tracey is beginning to wonder whether Jack really is looking for a permanent relationship, or whether she's just renting space in his heart. But just when Tracey's doubts are seriously raging out of control, Jack's mom lets her in on a secret--he's just taken an heirloom diamond out of the family's safe-deposit box, which must mean that he's going to propose any day now. Okay, any week now... Any month now?.… (more)

I really liked the first two in this series, but I was a little disappointed by how this book wrapped them all up. Still, it was a fun and easy read.

Another fun book to read, however I was hoping the engagement would happend more toward the middle of the book. I felt like I could have skimmed most of the book to get there. I realize the fun is in the process, but the process just seemed very long and drawn out. Still interested in the series,
Show More
just felt this one lacked a little.

I'd read all the previous ones in the series and liked them, but after reading some of the reviews I had low expectations. It was, however, a very fast and easy read and I definitely seemed to like it a lot more than most reviewers on Amazon.

I don't know if I am just burned out on chick lit (pretty sure I am) but this was not nearly as good as the two earlier books in this series. I got really sick of the whiny main character going on and on about wanting her boyfriend to propose. I just had to stop reading it. I gave it two stars
Show More
because it might just be me and my mood and since I didn't finish it there's always the chance that it gets better farther on, though I did read well past the middle.

This book was really silly - don't waste your time wondering if they'll get engaged. You know what will happen.

I the next installment of Tracey's life, she is desperately awaiting Jacks proposal as she watches all her friends become engaged and get married. Watching her ups and downs you feel her annoyance/desperation in a very funny way. This is another great book in this wonderful series and I have
Show More
already started the next one. Can't wait to see how the wedding turns out.
