This folktale is all about how the cat got it's purr. It tells of a cat who was told by his owner Mother Holly to clean up the cottage while she is out. The cat gets into all kinds of mischief in the process using magical items to help him clean up the messes he makes while trying to attend to his

Very cute story about a cat that gets into all kinds of mischief while Mother Holly is away. This story would be good to retell because there is lots fo actions, characters, and colorful language. This book was found in the E section at Statham Public Library.
