very realistic investigation where she was in the dark for the greatest part of the book. I guessed the end before it happened but certainly not all of it. Great atmosphere throughout too, it was just stifling enough without being completely uncomfortable (And Then There Were None was barely manageable for me) and some good characters (I could happily have read a whole book about Elizabeth Temple, the headmistress). Nearing the end now of the Marple books so I'm glad I found a five-star book now so I can leave with a good impression. Show Less
