I used to sing through this book with my children while looking at the pictures together. Susan Jeffers' tenderly drawn illustrations, mostly done in muted shades of blue, gray, and tan, correspond beautifully with the lyrics "all is calm" and "heavenly peace." My favorites are the wise men on
