Although Pigeon is always charming, this board book reads more like an advertisement for Willems' other books than a story in itself. It simply has the words airplane, bus, train, and hot dog next to pigeon who is making a comment in a conversation bubble. It simply does not compare to Williems'

This is an extremely simple book but pre-reading age students love it.
It could be used in a kindergarten or earlier classroom to introduce students to reading, even if they do not know how.

brings back references to the pigeon wanting to drive the bus. Also at the end a hotdog shows up and makes the pigeon upset and it is funny. The book was made for the readers to read a fun book while learning about the different types of transportation. Show Less
