Simmons delivers another engaging narrative here, although I would have to say that this is probably the weakest of the lot. Still, young fans of Alice and Greta, who want to know what "happened next," will undoubtedly enjoy the story. Cyd Moore, whose amusing illustrations accompanied Simmons' first two Alice and Greta tales, has fun playing around with color (and the lack thereof) in this one.
