Ellie Haskell (first introduced in the book, The Thin Woman) gets a call from her grandmother's best friends, telling them she has a message for her. Only trouble is, she's dead. But Ellie can't help wondering what's up. Since her husband and kids are off on a camping trip, she decided to

visit.

Very funny in parts, especially whenever Mrs. Malloy is on the scene. A great book.

I had never read any of this series before. I found it easy to understand the story without knowing what had happened in previous books. It was an enjoyable story and I will read more.
