Although fractionally less amusing than the first book in the series -"The Gun in Daniel Webster's Bust",this is still well worth reading by those who like their crime stories to be funny as well as thrilling.

of these decide to travel back to America once the work is done. Needless to say,shortly afterwards,there is murder done,and Emily and Henry attempt to bring the culprit to justice. The Green Plaid Pants of the title used to belong to Bonnie Prince Charles,and are crucial to the investigation.Although fractionally less amusing than the first book in the series -"The Gun in Daniel Webster's Bust",this is still well worth reading by those who like their crime stories to be funny as well as thrilling.
