Description

Set in Czechoslovakia during 1968, Boruvka is puzzled by the younger generation - it is the time of sexual revolution and experimentation with LSD. The sad detective is on the trail of another murderer. This volume follows The Mournful Demeanor of Lieutenant Boruvka and Sins for Father Knox.

Media reviews

Skvorecky the mystery writer is seriously, if quietly, entertaining.

A superb follow-on to the The Mournful Deamenor of LT Boruvka. Again Boruvka is one of the more fascinating fictional detectives. And again the crimes or mysteries are not that astounding and the ending is a bit melodramatic.
