its illustrations to be original and imaginative, but at times difficult to follow. For example, “Minneapolis, part Sioux. Minneapolis, part Greek. Greek polis means city. Now, Minnea comes from Minnehaha, means water falling not water laughing, ha ha.” The sentence structure offers a complicated, and sometimes disjointed, explanation to the reader. Show Less

Tongue twister for sure but very delightful. Take a tour around the United States and learn the meaning of some famous cities. The illustrations alone are worth a look at this book.
