This book is a great resource for students to look up science words they are unsure of. There are wonderful pictures throughout the book that help children understand the word better. As most dictionaries they book is alphabetical. The print is larger than most dictionaries, but again this is aimed
Show More
for children. The book also gives a pronunciation guide for each of the words; this could be both a good thing and a bad thing. Many children do not fully understand how to use the guide, but it can help them get a better idea of how to say the word. I would recommend this book for children grade 2nd and above.
