Description

The last command Jesus gave the church before he ascended to heaven was the Great Commission, the call for Christians to 'make disciples of all the nations.' But Christians have responded by making 'Christians,' not 'disciples.' This, according to scholar and renowned Christian thinker Dallas Willard, has been the church's Great Omission.

This is a great book. It goes to the heart of the discipleship deficit in the Church of our day, with some good practical steps that we can take to address this in our own lives. Where many books complain about the state of the cChurch, Dallas Willard points to the issues, and gives us a robust way

of addressing them. Reading this book as a Pastor is challenging and exciting - things can not be the same again.

The book is slightly disjointed in places as it is a collection of lectures and articles but nonetheless is a very worthwhile, positive and helpful read.
