Bob Uecker is outrageously funny. He tells story after story - always with himself as the fall guy - that had me laughing helplessly.

Hilarious: Hilarious. Uecker the practical joker. Even non-baseball fanatics will enjoy this book. I don't think his on the field antics would be tolerated today. Granted, many of the actions by him and his teammates were over the top, but maybe we need a little more of that individuality in

baseball today. (That does not include steroids. Hank Aaron was not a large man by any means.) Along with the spirit they had, with less emphasis on how many millions I need, maybe I would have a different outlook on what the game has become. Show Less
