I love these early adventures of Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan. They always remind me that Obi-Wan and Anakin were not all that dissimilar. A young Obi-Wan had a lot of fear and anger in him and it was Qui-Gon that tempered him.

different things would have been if Qui-Gon had lived and the duo had trained Anakin together. Because you know, knighted or not, Obi-Wan would have never legt Qui-Gon's side!

But I've gotten off track. This was a fun adventure for them. They're back on Coruscant, which is not often the case for this Master and Padawan pair. It took me a bit to figure it out, but I think I have a good idea who is behind the whole mystery. Didi and Astri seem to be safe now, but we've been left with a cliffhanger and the fate of our Master and Padawan is up in the air. I will immediately start the next book to see if I was right about the mystery.

I think the entire series is a must read for anyone interested in the expanded universe.
