Through amazing illustrations, done in cut paper, textured cloth, string, and colored pencil, the imagination of a young boy is portrayed. Playing ninja, he creeps into the kitchen at night for a late night snack, but his mom catches him and sends him on a "getting-back-to-bed mission". Beautiful

The spare, suspenseful text is nearly overwhelmed by Young's magnificent, richly textured illustrations in this playful story with a fun twist.

This book is illustrated by Ed Young, the same illustrator as "Hook." The are is similar in style as "Hook" but much different due to the medium used. It was constructed with cut paper, textured cloth, string, and colored pencil. It is a very quick story about a child who plays as a ninja at night.

He is not sneaky enough though, and his mother catches him and sends him back to bed.
