Very enjoyable, read to my toddler who loved it. Especially liked the pug picks! The various textures and movements increase interactivity of the book, a must have for any preschool library (or dog lover!).

Such a fun book! This is a sturdy book, great for the younger set and most of the movements can withstand excited play. The dogs really show their personalities and fun nature...and some scratching and um...well lets just say nothing in a typical dog's day is hidden. My favorite pop-up is the wet

dog shaking itself dry; if there was really water in this book, everyone would get wet! Lots of different dogs are showcased here, you are sure to find a favorite.

In my opinion, this is a good book. I liked it because it was interactive. There were pull tabs, touch and feel patches, and flip up tabs. I liked that the book described general differences in dogs. For example, a sentence said “Fluffy dog, scruffy dog, droopy dog sags, perky little puppy dog

wag, wag, wag!” I also liked the illustrations. The author used pictures of real dogs of his friends and neighbors. However, I didn’t like that the book didn’t give you a lot of information on each type of dog featured on the pages until the end of the book.

I was excited about this book because my daughter loves dogs and interactive books. I was still surprised by how awesome it was when it showed up!

It is a huge, sturdy book with tons of fun elements. The cover has two soft furry tails and a tail that wags when you move the tab. Inside are dozens of

high-quality pictures of many types of dogs. There are several different types of furry textures, several moving parts, and even a dog with a sticky tongue. My daughter particularly liked this and has been disappointed recently as the stick wears off. The last two pages open up to an extra wide spread with a hidden non-dog visitor. The words are silly but not in an irritating way. She is eleven months old now and will be enjoying this one for a long time.
